§ 10-88. Adoption of the ICC International Residential Code for One- and Two-Family Dwellings, 2015 Edition.

  • A certain document, one copy of which is on file in the office of the city clerk, being marked and designated as the International Residential Code for One- and Two-Family Dwellings, 2015 Edition (IRC), as published by the International Code Council (ICC), excluding all appendices, as amended and revised by the Oklahoma Uniform Building Code Commission (OUBCC) is now adopted by the City of Stillwater, Oklahoma, for regulating the design, construction, quality of materials, erection, installation, alteration, repair, location, relocation, replacement, addition to, use or maintenance of one- and two-family dwellings and townhouses not more than three stories in height in the City of Stillwater. Each and all of the terms, conditions, regulations, and provisions of the International Residential Code for One-and Two-Family Dwellings, 2015 Edition, published by the ICC, as amended, on file in the Office of the City Clerk of the City of Stillwater are now referred to, adopted and made a part of the Stillwater City Code, as if fully set out in this article, with its amendments, as prescribed in section 10-89 of this article and, as used in this article may be referred to as the 'code.'
