§ 2-148. Membership.

(a)

The audit committee shall consist of five voting members who shall be appointed by the city council and three nonvoting ex officio members.

(b)

The five voting members shall include not less than one person from each of the following groups, provided, however, that one group, which may vary from time to time, may be represented by not more than two members:

(1)

Bankers, or other financial institutions;

(2)

Business persons; and

(3)

Certified public accountants.

(c)

The three ex officio, nonvoting members shall be a city councilor, the city manager and the director of finance.
