§ 2-150. Functions.

The duties of the audit committee shall include but not be limited to the following:

(1)

Recommendation of accounting firm to perform the annual audit;

(2)

Maintenance of good communications with city staff and independent accountants;

(3)

Review and evaluation of year end financial statements and independent accountants' audit reports;

(4)

Review and evaluation of independent accountants' management letter;

(5)

Review any reported deficiencies in internal control; and

(6)

To report to the city council as required.
