§ 31-20. Appearance of complainant.

  • In those prosecutions for violation of ordinances of the city wherein the person making complaint is not employed by the city, it shall be declared to be a Class A offense for said person to fail to appear on the date and at the time said matter is scheduled to be heard; provided further, however, that the above shall not apply to those persons making complaint and who shall give advance notice of their absence to the clerk.
