§ 31-23. Arrest warrant.

  • (a)

    Except as otherwise provided by ordinance upon the filing of a complaint approved by the endorsement of the city attorney or by the judge, there shall be issued a warrant of arrest, in the form prescribed by ordinance.

    (b)

    It shall be the duty of the marshal, personally, or through a duly constituted member of the police force of this city, or through any other persons lawfully authorized so to act, to execute said warrant as promptly as possible.
