§ 41-154. Size and depth of service pipe.

  • Service pipes shall be of size suitable for conducting the amount of water likely to be required without excessive friction loss, but not less than the carrying capacity of three-fourths-inch galvanized steel pipe. They shall be placed not less than 30 inches below the surface of the ground or flow lines of gutters on streets crossed if graded, or from the intended grade if grading is incomplete.
