§ 11-2. Officers and employees to continue, etc.

The incumbents of the offices of the commissioners and of the members of the board of education, and the incumbents of all other offices and positions of employment (including members of boards, commissions, and other plural authorities), under the old charter at the time this charter goes into effect, shall continue in their respective offices and positions of employment under this charter until their respective terms expire or until their services are terminated in accordance with the provisions of this charter and is elected or appointed and qualifies unless his or her services are sooner terminated by resignation, removal, disqualification, death, abolition of the office or other legal manner.
