§ 12-384. Persons ineligible for license.

  • The director of finance shall not issue a license to operate any card or domino parlor unless the applicant, owner, or other persons who are to work in the parlor or room are of good moral character, not addicted to the use of intoxicating liquor to excess and not having been convicted of a crime or misdemeanor involving moral turpitude and not being a gambler or permitting gambling in any establishment formerly operated by the applicant within the last 12 months.
