§ 31-2. Definitions.

The following words, terms and phrases, when used in this chapter, shall have the meanings ascribed to them in this section, except where the context clearly indicates a different meaning:

Clerk means the city clerk, including a deputy or member of the office of the city clerk, performing duties of the city clerk's office.

Court means the municipal court not of record of the city hereinafter referred to as municipal court.

Judge means the judge of the municipal court, including any acting judge thereof as provided for by the Charter, statutes of this state, and this chapter.

This judicial district means the district court of the ninth judicial district.
