Parking disruption fee.
A parking disruption fee assessed at a per day per space rate established by resolution
of the city council shall be charged whenever public parking spaces are to be closed
in whole or in part. Exception: When adjacent lane is closed, parking disruption fee
is not charged.
(b)
Sidewalk disruption fee:
A sidewalk disruption fee in an amount established by resolution of the city council
shall be charged for each lineal foot of detour route of sidewalk closed by construction.
When the sidewalk is ADA accessible, the detour route must also be sidewalk accessible.
Exception: When an accessible sidewalk is available to pedestrians on the side of
the street immediately opposite and across from the disrupted sidewalk.
