§ 41-76. Established; boundary.

  • There is hereby established a water district for the sanitary protection of the water supply of the city which district shall be known as the Stillwater Water District, and shall embrace all the lands in Payne and Noble Counties, within the following metes and bounds:

    (1)

    Description of Drainage Area of Boomer Lake. Beginning at the southeast corner of Section 3, Township 19 North, Range 2 East, thence west 1 mile, thence north 2¼ miles, thence west ½ mile, thence north 1¾ miles, thence west ½ mile to the SW corner of Section 16, Township 20 North, Range 2 East, thence north ¾ mile, thence east 1 mile, thence south ¼ mile, thence east 1½ miles, thence north ½ mile, thence east ½ mile to the northeast corner of Section 14, Township 20 North, Range 2 East, thence south 1¼ miles, thence east ¼ mile, thence south 1¾ miles, thence east ¼ mile, thence south ½ mile, thence west ¼ mile, thence south ½ mile, thence west ½ mile, thence south ½ mile, thence west 993 feet, thence south 2640 feet, thence west 774.6 feet, thence south 25;deg; 54' west 600.6 feet, thence south 81;deg; 50' west 623 feet, thence south 197 feet, thence west 528 feet, thence north 165 feet, thence west 462 feet, thence north 660 feet, thence west 330 feet, to the point of beginning.

    Description of Drainage Area of Lake McMurtry. Those parcels of land described as follows:

    a.

    The south half of Section 36, Township 21 North, Range 1 West of the Indian Meridian, Noble County, State of Oklahoma.

    b.

    The southeast quarter of the southeast quarter of Section 29; the south half of Section 31; Section 32; and the west half of Section 33, Township 21 North, Range 1 East of the Indian Meridian, Noble County, State of Oklahoma.

    c.

    Section 1; the east half and the southwest quarter of Section 2; the northeast quarter of the northeast quarter of Section 10; the east half and the northwest quarter of Section 11; Section 12; the north half, southeast quarter and the east half of the southwest quarter of Section 13; the northeast quarter of Section 14; and the northeast quarter of Section 24, Township 20 North, Range 1 West of the Indian Meridian, Noble County, State of Oklahoma.

    d.

    The southwest quarter of the southwest quarter of Section 2; the south half of Section 3; Section 4, except the northeast quarter of the northeast quarter; Section 5; Section 6; Section 7; Section 8; Section 9; Section 10; the west half of Section 11; the west half of Section 14; Section 15; Section 16; Section 17; Section 18; the north half of Section 19; the north half and the east half of the southeast quarter of Section 20; Section 21; Section 22; the west half of Section 23; Section 26, except the east half of the northeast quarter; Section 27; the east half and the northwest quarter of Section 28; the east half of Section 33; Section 34; and the northwest quarter, the west half of the northeast quarter, and the northwest quarter of the southwest quarter of Section 35, Township 20 North, Range 1 East, of the Indian Meridian, Noble County, State of Oklahoma.
